I remember the first time my father let me repair a huge truck tire. It was the most terrifying feeling I had even felt, because the tire was almost as tall as I was, plus it was heavy as hell. This was a 10/20 tire (one of the biggest) with a lot of feet-per-pound pressure, and if you make one mistake with any part of the repair procedure, it could take your life.

After he explain how to repair the tire to me my anxiety went through the roof. He told me what to do and what tools to uses to make the job as safe and as easy as possible, but that didn't stop the fear that was building inside of me. It was only after applying the techniques and step-by-step instructions he gave to get the job done, was I relieved and build-up the confidences to do it.

This is the same with internet marketing.

So many are fearful of what it will take to get started in a internet business and what they will encounter on the way. Taking "The Leap Of Faith" When Starting A Online Business

I am not one to wait for "the perfect time" or "the opportunity to arrive". That is why I have lost my shirt in more than a few ventures. But it is also why I have had some great success in others. I think when it come to bettering yourself, you have to grab the moment. Instead of waiting until the car is paid off or the kids to graduate, you should go after what you want, now. You must take the leap of faith, because time is "money" you are losing, especially within this economy.

If you monitor yourself on how much wasteful spending you do, most of the time you will find that you have more than enough to start a internet business.

For example:

Say you spending about $45 a week eating out with your family.
That is $180 a month!

You could invested this amount into a business that could pay you $1000 or more per month.
That is $820 profit!

There are a lot of internet business affiliates that will let you in for FREE, than after their trial period, you would pay a small monthly fee to continue with their program.

All you have to do is save enough to cover your monthly fee and some for advertising.

The reason most people who jump into online businesses are not successful, is because their priorities are not in order. It take "disciple" in budgeting your money if you want to be successful.

Now here is a scenario for using the same $180 for a business.

Find a business affiliate with a good reputation and a good product. With a modest monthly fee around $50. Make sure they have marketing materials like banners, email samples or splash pages, so you can start selling immediately. Now after you have studied the material and know what your selling. Find your affiliate link to promote the product (usually found in your new back office area).

Next is advertising. And out of the $180 you will have $130 to invest.

I would suggest to anyone starting out to advertise through Google Adwords (Pay-Per-Click). And why... Because it would give you the most targeted traffic to your products. Plus most visitors that click on your ad are ready to buy. But be careful because its the most expensive (I have seen it as high as $1.50 per click and up).

The main part of Adwords advertising is your "keywords". If your product is "wellness" related, you want to find "keywords" in that category. But remember again, it can get a bit pricey if you are going for a single keyword like "energy". Words like that will cost you BIG. And some are owned by advertisers. It would be best to try using 2 or more words to create "keyword phrases" (more about this in upcoming blogs) in your campaigns.

So first, go to Google Search in type in "Adwords" or "Google PPC Advertising" and read up on it. Once you get a good idea of how to advertise there, I would suggest you start off with a small campaign budget, around $5 per day. This would be enough to see how well your "keyword phrase" is doing by bringing traffic to your site. And you should be on your way to a successful business.

Now see what is possible with a little budgeting. It is all in how you spend your money. So the next time a great opportunity comes your way, do not push it away. Just pull out your notepad and your bank book and start writing down all your purchases from the last 2 weeks and I can almost guarantee you will find enough money to start your new Internet venture. Now take the leap... you might not regret it.

This is what I ask myself when I'm questioned about the validity of online entrepreneurship. The #1 frequently asked question is "Isn't most online programs scams". But when it's asked, all I can do is smile. I don't think they're trying to bad-mouth what we do as internet marketers, I think it's partially because they have no knowledge of the internet and this is their way of defending themselves or the residue of a bad seed (internet scam) they may have heard about from someone else.

But I must confess, I'm a little sensitive about this subject, because most who question what we do don't see the long hours spent building friendships and partnerships online. The hours spent preparing material, designing websites and setting up the different marketing tools to make it all work. This is not easy people... But we do it for the joy of helping others live a better life (I think most of us do).

As internet marketers and home business owners, we just want to make a decent living, plain & simple. To provide for our families and give them a better life. And hopefully by presenting our opportunities on the internet, would give others the same.

So why am I a internet marketer... because I love helping people, help themselves. To empower people to create their own way of life and take it out of the hands of others. Every new person I meet online is like meeting a new brother or sister. I just want to tell them and teach them everything I know, so they can be successful.

As an internet marketer, most of my time is spent trying to generate traffic to splash pages and websites to make sales. I think I've tried almost everything on the internet to draw traffic. But for most new comer marketers starting out, this can be expensive. So the first thing I suggest are traffic exchanges. Because It's the cheapest way to promote your website and almost guarantee it's visibility. Most traffic exchange systems are free to start and surf (promote). And most have premium services to reach a larger audience.

Unlike other promotional vehicles for drawing traffic (solo ads or per-per-click), most traffic exchanges require manual labor (about 2 hours per day) to get good traffic flowing to your site. Most are setup the same way and can be loaded with up to 5 web addresses (some are unlimited). There are some systems that run automatic, (but who's looking at the ads).

If you don't have the money to promote you website, but have lots of time on your hands, than traffic exchanges are for you. They work on a I-see-your-site, you-see-mine situation, which work out pretty good if the other person likes what they see.

So What's Worth More Than Wealth...

On Friday, May 22, 2009 at about 5:30 p.m. I looked into the eyes of the most precious gift God could have given me. My 18 year old daughter. She was all dress up for prom, looking just like her mother. Her smile lit the room as she walk from end to end taking photos with her friends, her brothers and sisters from my present marriage and other family members. But this day was not like any other day seeing her. One thing kept popping into my head and that was her birth. My daughter was not suppose to be here. Based on what the doctors told us. You see, her mother was a high risk patience (because of other miscarriages) and they did not expect her to go the full length of her pregnancy. The doctors scratched their heads every time we walk into the office for her weekly check-up. It was amazing seeing her grow every week, getting stronger and stronger as the pregnancy went on. She was a fighter. Now looking at my miracle child (young lady) standing there, so perfect, really put my life into perspective.

We are here, but only for a very short time. And we must make the most of it. A lot of her childhood without me was lose between the separation and us moving around. I lose out on a lot of her growing up. Time I can't get back.

But as she walked to the limo, holding hands with her date for the evening. I reach in and whispered to her "this is the start of a new beginning. Time to create new memories and experiences. Time for us to live life".

This experience has giving me a whole new outlook on my life. And what I do from this day forward. How I spend my time networking and building my business, to how must time I spend with my family doing what we love. It was like yesterday, I was headed this wonderful bundle of joy. Now she's all grown up and my heart is breaking, because I wish I could have been there for her first outing, her first date or just for advice. I guest this is just part of being a father.

All I know is, grabbing every opportunity to better yourself financially, should be equally balanced with family time. I would give a millionaire dollars to get each moment back. To give her the time and resource to make her life the best it could be. So we would never miss another moment. Her mother called me for this send off and I thanked her because it was wealth more than all the gold in the world to me.

Driving the car of your dreams, living in your custom home with the "80 inch flat screen television" you are going to build.

I know at this time, "thinking" and "feeling" successful can be hard during this recession. But it is also the best time to dream and work to make them come true. Because there has never been a better time to help people than right now. Giving others an opportunity to create wealth also give you the same opportunity. Everything I will bring to my readers will have this concept as its foundation. Because everything we've create on this planet has come from a through first and than into reality. New Launching Pad To A Better Life

Hello All,

I know this blog has been dormant for some time. Mainly due to my lack of interest in written. It's not that I can't write, it's just because I like to talk to people direct, (I got this from my father). He was in business for 36 years in our family owned trucking company. I think he talked his way through every contract he ever received. I never seen him write anything down. He just loved people. I'm a lot like him, when I meet someone I just like to talk and get to know you.

So now back to my blog. There are a lot of great information coming to The Launching Pad. The more I look at the news and continue to see the job lose in America, the more I'm fired up to get the word out on how to make money online. I, myself have dozens of friend who are now unemployed, all within the last three months. Seeing them go through this has gotten me charged up to help any and everyone.

I will start with what I call my "building block" approach. And that is the basics (A.B.C.), for people new to the online money making world, who may have little or no cash flow, but have to lot of time. We will then move on to more advance ways of generating money. I will also have "Fast Track" methods to build cash for people who make have some money to invest in a new home business.

I was watching the news last night and my heart became heavy because of this 700 billion dollar price tag laid upon us. The amount of people this will affect will ripple for years to come. And that most people are making their money, for their mortgage or rent, car note, child care, food, college and etc., from the wealth of the United States. Then I came up with this idea. Why should they have to depend on the wealth of the United States, when the wealth of the world is literally at their feet via the Internet? All we have to do is present money making opportunities to the people of the United States of America. The problem is, the face of the Internet market and the physical world has never been bridged successfully for many, as a way to make money. For a lot of people it has been somewhat of a mystery and for others, just down right scary. But the potential it has for making money is staggering and this is where the American people must go, if they are to survive this 700 billion dollar tidal wave.

Here are a couple of ideas for getting the word out to the American people. As a internet marketer, we need to change our scope in which we do most of our marketing (which is the internet) and start looking at other ways of pulling more people to what the internet has to offer. For example, try sending out postcards about online opportunities with discounts to physical stores and/or products. Or maybe sponsor a real event with company logos on banners and handouts with information about our company or affiliate (this is true integration marketing). My first impression was the site looks professional and clean, with an attractive look and feel. It is easy to read and understand. Joining the site was easy and painless--they do offer 2 upgrade options but they are not required to gain the benefits.

The Members Area is very well laid out and intuitive--I could figure out what to do after only a few minutes and was able to get up & running in less than 5 minutes. Inside the site, you create links and ads--the links you simply enter any URL links you use into the generator and it transforms them into "Juggernaut" links. You create ads for anything you want to promote using the Juggernaut Ad Generator, which is very easy to use. You can create as many links and as many ads as you like. After you've created at least 1 link and 1 ad you can start to generate traffic. Just use and promote the new Juggernaut link instead of the original source link you had. It displays 3 ads PLUS an image with your affiliate link that goes back to Juggernaut. So if anyone clicks the Juggernaut image they see the site, and if they signup they become your referral. It's a great viral feature because you can build referrals without even trying to just by using the site.

Now every time the ad window displays (your Juggernaut links get clicked) you earn credits that get YOUR ad displayed in the ad windows when other members' links get clicked. So the more clicks, the more times your ads get displayed.

And this works up to 5 levels deep. So you can create a massive amount of free ad views and web traffic by referring others to Juggernaut also.

I didn't get to test the full effect of a big downline yet (I just got the tool) but I can tell you the rest of the site works exactly as stated--my links got clicked, I earned credits, and my ads got displayed. Juggernaut even tracked my results so I know how many clicks and how many ad displays. That was an impressive unadvertised extra feature.

There is one more benefit and feature which might be the best of them all--downline emailing. You can email your downline with offers, promotions, or whatever you like, and here is where Juggernaut really shines. They took time to make the emailing often enough that it's valuable as a user, but no so often that it's a burden to your downline. But the best part about this feature (and actually the credit earning too) is that they use a unique dual-matrix technology that builds your downline in 2 ways. First is the typical way--you refer members, who then refer members, etc. But the 2nd matrix is a "forced matrix" that places all new members in a downline in sequential order. Without getting technical, what it means is that if you join and just stay a member (even if you don't do anything) your downline will grow automatically because new members will fill in your forced matrix. And you earn credits on them too. Now THAT's cool.

How To Use An Autoresponder To Promote Your Business

An AutoResponder is an essential tool to build any business online. The reason you go into business is to find and keep your customers. An autoresponder will make this job so much easier for you so you can work on marketing your business.

There is a bit of confusion around the online community surrounding autoresponders. Some people think they are a piece of software for loading email addresses into so you can then blast thousands upon thousands of people your message and promote your business.

Nothing could be further from the truth!

What they were designed for is to allow you to collect the details of visitors to your web page. The way you do this is by offering a gift in exchange for the person's name and email address. You can actually collect a large number of details but on the first visit you would not want to try to collect their home address as you may not have much luck.

Directly after the payment page you will ask the customer to enter their details so they can get the product delivered and be kept up to date with software upgrades or whatever is applicable to your product.

4. Reduce Refunds/Returns- After collecting your new customers details you would send them at least one unadvertised bonus. This would not be mentioned in the sales page and means you would be 'over-delivering' on your product. Another method I have seen is offering extra bonus products at say 15 or 30 days after the sale. The autoresponder can handle this easily and your refund rate should plummet if you can create extra value in these bonus offers.

5. Promote Back End Products- It is a lot easier to make a sale to someone who has brought from you before. You have their trust and as long as you recommend good products that make their life easier or help them build their business this be the easiest way to maintain your income.
